Shelldrake reaches GA finals in 5v5 Ladder |

After a long fought season, including a mid season game upgrade to
v2.7, TOG's Australian America's Army team, Shelldrake, has succeeded in
reaching the finals for the Game Arena 5v5 Ladder.
The last match was a challenge issued by Bunch of Mates Brigade (BomB)
and a loss would have resulted in 9th place, and exclusion from the
finals. Battling mapwise on Special Forces: Combat Search and Rescue,
and led by Dextrous Weevil, our DC, TOG fought out the first defensive
phase to a lead of 6-1. In the best of 14 match, Shelldrake secured
another match win and needed only 1 more to win the day. BomB fought
back and ended the match at 7-7.
The draw situation caused some frayed nerves for the Captains (Dextrous
Weevil and Rapid_Descent) and both watched with some concern the match
between RAInf (AEF) and Bunch of Mugs (BOM) as a loss to RAInf would
also have placed us into 9th.
Needless to say our fears were allayed last night, and now our team
forges into the GA Finals for the FIRST time in the Divisions History!
