Well it had to happen didn't it? There's going to be another series of Conan The Barbarian which FunCom has alerted us all.
No word on the Governor of Californa Arnold Schwarzenegger making any cameo's in
this next series of films, but we'll see.

2006 – Funcom
points to an announcement from Paradox Entertainment where plans related
to an upcoming Conan movie from Warner brothers are revealed and confirmed.
According to Paradox Entertainment the deal may include several Conan
movies.
Boaz Yakin has been hired as scriptwriter on the upcoming movie.
He is known for titles like ‘Remember the Titans’ and ‘The Rookie’. One of the
producers will be Akira Goldsman, known for titles like ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’,
‘Cinderella man’, ‘DaVinci code’ and the Oscar-winning ‘A Beautiful mind’, while
additional producers include Irving Azoff, Jon Jashni and Richard Alexander. A
director for the movie is to be selected this autumn.

The new courtship with Hollywood and the
Games Industry has been ushering forth entertainment brands in full force. With
a movie to pull them in and a MMO game title to keep them hooked and hopefully
get them to spend loads of bucks on merchaindising opportunities. The game
industry is morphing before our eyes as we see it continuing to evolve for the
pleasure of us all.
