Ok got it sorted, very easy.
Get this face pack
Armed Assault Zone - Viewing ArmA FacePack V1
Edit in photoshop or similar, save as jpeg, make sure is under 100 KB, if over you just show up with white face/hands on most servers. rename to face.jpeg, move to your arma profile folder in my documents. (C:\Documents and Settings\Stompya\My Documents\ArmA)
Start Arma, click on your profile top of screen, edit, select custom face.
