I can agree with you about the need for differing tilesets in CoH but realistically, based on the area and timeframe they cover with CoH, there really wouldn't be snow or mountainous maps so it's internally consistent in that regard.

I respect that you think it looks better than SupCom but I also suspect that your opinion in that regard might be related to the type of system you own. SupCom purposefully scales down the graphics to help your system run the game well and it's night and day if you see someone play it on a really heavy-duty system. You wouldn't even recognize the game, nearly.

What didn't you like about the GUI in SupCom (just curious - you can totally customize its layout and positioning, as well as size so it can suit your needs)?

I can agree that if you were somehow intrigued by the original story, that this one would add some new insight into the ages-old battle between NOD and the GDI (and now the Scrin). I just didn't find anything really compelling about the storyline or the throwback FMV sequences.

But like you said, each to his own, I suppose.
