The rule pertains to ramming armor, by definition its easy to rule on and there is little gray area.
Mid air collisions are too difficult to adjudicate as the more agile gunship should never be caught by the slower, less maneuverable transport and who is to say who was at fault. As for gunships hitting one and other because one has low health - again to difficult to adjudicate but im sure most expert pilots dont do this.
We dont have a rule for it, but thats ok, we dont want to turn our server into a nanny state that takes our server admins off line so much, that they dont get to play the game itself.
All we want is for people to play fairly and have some fun.
