Having trouble sleeping in multi-player because everyone-else is too busy during the night to rest? Well, if everyone-else is in the Nether, then you can sleep in the normal world without a problem. Night will become day and your new spawn site will be set. Since this is only a normal world change, the Nether will be unaffected.
