The way I see it is that you can remove " said Liam " from the text and end up with only "My favourite game is Minecraft.". Obviously you don't want any punctuation in that sentence so alternative 1 and 4 would be wrong. But I'm not entirely sure if it's number 2 or 3 that is the right one (starting to lean towards 3). Personally I would have added "said Liam" to the end and be done with it
