I discovered this a couple of days ago and have been having a lot of fun with it.
My first mission successfully reached orbit before the kerbonaught was left stranded in his command module in a crazy elliptical orbit that reaches halfway to Mun.
The next few mission tended to end in either suborbital hops or fiery death or both, with the one amusing exception of the kerbonaught who went for an EVA during reentry.
Of course then we have the legendary Edwin Kerman, first Kerbil on Mun, who upon landing on Mun discovered the serious design flaw in his spacecraft of the engine extending past the landing struts.
My last mission is currently orbiting Minmus at an altitude of 25-30 km, landing upon the surface is scheduled for tomorrow.
