Application - GW2
I'm a Guild Wars 2 player on the Yak's Bend server. Many of my friends have stopped playing, but there is so much more I want to do and I'd like to share these experiences with others. [The Older Gamers] seems like the guild in which I can do just that.
I started gaming on the NES with Legend of Zelda, Metroid, and Final Fantasy. RPGs and Strategy games have always been my forte, though I enjoy the odd FPS here and there.
My first MMO was Asheron's Call, which I played as a way to keep in touch with a friend that had moved and the tradition of playing MMOs with friends was started. I've played EQ, DAoC, AO, FFXI, WoW, and probably one or two I'm forgetting, though I rarely got to max level until World of Warcraft, which was the first MMO I really experienced an "endgame" on. I never got into the original Guild Wars simply because I knew nobody who played it.
I live in Oregon with my wife and my dog working various light industrial jobs.
