been thinking about AO for a while

Strange but for the past few weeks I have been thinking about AO, I haven't had any emails lately, but I was using a different email account . . I think, well depends which account.
I stopped playing about a month after that alien expansion came out, but I started about 10 months after the game went live, bought the game when it came out, but never installed it till 10 months later.
AO was my first MMO. Anyways was thinking of playing again, course this time the free part. hmm maybe I saved some of the emails for getting 30days , Heh. . I do not remember what level I was, I think I had a sniper way up there.
one of the things that killed the fun for me on AO, was high levels camping lower level bosses, farming them, I am sure that is still happening, unless funcom fixed it in some way where they couldn't. I had many Alts, but I think my main was a sniper, and coming in second behind the sniper was a healer.

but unless I can find some where , where I can get a broadband connection, I will not be playing again. I do not feel like waiting on 3 weeks of downloading on Dial up.

well found that both accounts were on the same email addy I still use.

started to download the game, from where I am at currently , and that would take over 89hours, damn dial up.
with me only haveing 2-4 hours a day to download, that would just take too long, but I think if I can get somewhere where I can get a faster connection I am going to download the game. ill then I'll play some other free game
Also discovered, I would not be able to use my old characters, the delete them after 3 months, so I could still use the same account(s), I will have to make new characters.

found a place that had broadband to download from, but for some reason could not use it, had limited connectivity.

NO . . and the connection I do have available all the time, sez 900hours to download

I think what I might be able to do, if I ever get back, is go n my storage and grab the Hard drive the game is on, copy it to disc.

But I'll probably forget to do that, last time I was near there I forgot to stop, there was some items I wanted out of it.

too bad I have to start with new toons, they wiped my old ones already cuz it has been that long since I last played.

Well give me a holler ...or an email when you get in. I'm on RK2 trying out different classes right now. I'm playing the freebie game right now. I have a few clans, omnies and neutrals so anything is good for me. Most of my chars are in the 10ish range as of right now. you can send me a private message here on the forums or email me at rthomas8@houston.rr.com or markt351@gmail.com. I use the rr one when i'm at home and the gmail one when I'm away.

It seems this forum is closed and nobody looks at it anymore. The toggers never really caught on in this game for some reason. It would be nice to play with some fellow toggers while I'm obsessed with it though...hehe

semi good news .
where I am staying . . they are going to get internet satellite , that will get me the download . . just it will not happen for another 3-4 weeks from now.
I'll have to see if the game can be played on satellite , I know I can download it, but may not be able to play on satellite , so I would still be stuck playing on a rural dial up.

So I may be there soon as in 3-4 weeks soon
