well at the end of this week i will have my new pc, and hen im going to start playing

hehe . . and I have just lil over a week to go till I will be able to get some kinda broadband, so I can download the game.
this coming weekend I'll create the account . .since I'll only be able to play the free version, I need to make a new account, since you can not play free on a existing/old account.
Found out that the sat would have been installed today, but the owner wanted to be here when they install, so it'll be next week . . that is still a week sooner then I was first told it would have been installed.

It will feel werid starting out again, and limited to where I'll be able to go or get or do . . but can not complain .. it's all free for me

great news . . the sat is now installed . . but they do not have a router . . so I'll have to wait till tonight to start the downloading of the game. they're going to go it a longer cable .. so I can use my comp in the other room. They plan to get a wireless router, but not right away.

So just give me a couple days, and I'll be playing the free portion of AO. I forgot about starting an account this weekend . . was dealing with some issues on another game I have been playing . . totally forgot about creating a new account.

also need to decide what I want to create .. since free portion I do not think I can make a keeper or shade . . also not sure how many characters I can create on one account . . a doc for sure will be created.

figure to find me on anywhere between 5pm-3am .. any where in between those times I am online, some times sooner .. sometimes later . .

I'll post my in game names as soon as I create them.

ive been playing this game on and of since launch. currently im playing clan and im a proud member of the mockers on rk1. if you guys roll a toon, be sure to add wintermut3 to your friends lists, id be happy to help out any togger that decides to join up =D

I've got a char on both RK1 and RK2. Should be Delzo on both I think. Maybe Delzorian.

I'm currently playing Tabula Rasa but I'll see if I can get on sometime soon to help form the guild.

Well I bought the christmas offer of all addons and 3 months of play time .... sooo I'm back again on the rubi-ka (forgot my old account so couldnt reinstate it) anyways I'll be on with Twonkler or Thraldax and I got a mate who is paying too (I think his 25+ also) whom would join and we are playing on rubika2... anyway pull my arm if anyone is going to make a guild

Well they've made the offer to come back a little more enticing... You can play AO and Shadowlands for $5 a month. I think I'm going to upgrade one of my free accts and see if I can get back into it...

I played AO at release, and experienced the rockiest start in MMO history first hand. But like a phoenix, it rose from the ashes to be a pretty intense game. I didn't stay too long, other MMOs drug me away. but i did come back in jan/feb of 2004 when I bought shadowlands at best buy for 5 bucks. :P I stayed for the free month and quit. I leveled a keeper up to I tihnk 57, but I can't remember the account name or what server it was on. I made up a free account about two years ago and leveled up a martial artist, I think to late 20's. again forget if it was RK1 or RK2. lol

If enough people are interest, I might come back. I just don't want to be stuck leveling alone. It seems every MMO I'm lpaying lately my friends are no longer playing, and I"m stuck alone. so if there is comradery, I'm there!

Oh, and with the upcoming graphics overhaul in the next year or so, I definately want to give it a go.
