I have posted in the admin forums to reenstate this forum to the Active catagory. I would like to take the leadership position of The Outlaw Guard on RK2 if I could get the leader of that group to give it to me. If not, I will start a new organization on RK2 for tog if I can get enough toggers to come in and sign up with me. The original Anarchy Online game can be played for free until next year, so if anyone is reading this please help me out. If you have a character online please post here with your character name and faction please.

I don't play it anymore but I do have a few char there. I will log on to help out to make a guild if you need people to do it. I will log on tonight after Midnight est if you're on...EST

AO has been free for like 3 years atleast... but only the basic game.
Notum Wars (PvP addon I think), Shadow lands (or something like that) 20 more levels (making it 220 not 200) and lots of goody perk stuff.
Alien invasion (I think 40 alien levels... have nothing to do with the otherlevels of your char (well they have a bit but dont affect you so much) with even more nice perks to twink-a-toon.
Oh and the new Eden something... more High-end content. (friend of mine who still plays it told me nothing great really just bit more funky "best in game" stuff for each class)

I played the game as paying customer and the game is ALOT about twinking (IE maximizing) your character to utmost perfection. That is if you want to achieve in it. If you waltz around not twinking you start notizing it gets quite hard at 50ish lvl.

I might start a free account (forgotten my account name and passwords for the paid account and not sure could I even start it again as freeaccount)

The game is hugely diverse with the classes and almost every class has few TWINK possibilities to make you topknotch toughguy or gal. Even with all the Twinky going on in the game its very addictive and fun if you dont mind them twinkers and just have phun, buns and coffee with ze family in game.

The game is best when you can do missions with say 3-5 people and almost every combination imaginable works. You dont need 1 tank 1 healer etc...
I've done alot in the game with various different settings.

All the blather done I'd recommend the game to anyone. With free account you're severely handicapped below 60-100 lvl on the good stuff. (60 if you have ingame cash to twink ALOT and buy the good stuff). But you can still enjoy it if you team with people whom want to play to have fun

I can do account just to get the guild done (and probably get addicted again... just love the zoom around with zem fixer submachine guns blazing)

Hmm intresting i played it during the beta and i found it an intresting setting , but my lack of funds back then kept me back from pla but well i guess i could give it another try

Hmm I used to play on and off but none of my regular online gaming friends liked the game. Never really got above level 45 with any characters though and they are all on RK1. I have Shadowlands and Notum, but heck if I can remember my login anymore. How's the population on RK2? I've heard it's quite a bit smaller than RK1.

The population is a bit smaller on RK2 I would say but that makes it more imperative to get toggers here. I would like to start a Tog organization on RK 2 soon or these forums will be closed again.

You can play free and check it out. If you like it then you can get the expansions and start power leveling. I have several characters in the 30-40 range. My problem is that I like all the classes and can't decide on which one I want to take higher.

With tinybit help from your bit bigger char or from any friendly face you can easily do 100lvls in first week with the addon shadowlands.
(takes a tad of knowing the game mechanics and funds though).
Can't do with your first toon unless you're pulled along by experienced player but its easy enough when you get the gist. So after playing one toon to 50 or so you can fool around with them to see what you like and then zoom to bigger levels.

It was soo much more varied enjoyment with paid account I don't know can I makemyself play the freeware anymore. Might, but anyway made my own little niche in the Rappelz. Around all my old mates from AO either have quit or play at 200-220lvl range so it's kinda out of freewareing for me.

well I have no $$ to play the pay part, also do not have a connection to download the game . . do not know when . but as soon as I get it downloaded . . I'll be there

I'll have to start new again, since my toons have been wiped for being gone for so long, my highest level was a 180 sniper, but I had a 150 something healer I was playing the most towards the end. I forgot what the others where, seems memory goes as we get older

I actually poked my nose around here just before you started this thread checking to see if TOG had a group playing AO. I've tinkered with it some and got a level 49 agent and a low level engineer currently, but still learing about the game. Both are Clan.

If you are looking to revive TOG's presence there or begin a new guild, send an invite to Parenthachin. My wife has a toon there as well, so she may be joining in the near future too.
