If we vote for either going Clan or Omni, my vote would be "Clan" (i played AO for 2 years and i was a devoted clan member), but as i said previous, i`ll keep my enforcer neutral till we know for sure what`s the verdict.

well i'm going to free some slots to create new toons neutral waiting for decision.
but i think that we can head on clan it seems to be the one you want, and as i don't care bout the faction we play for, let's go. but do we all start new toons or do you prefer playin your "old" ones ?

I have 7 toons from lvl 25 to lvl 200 clanless (all "clan") from the time i played 3 years ago.
And i yesterday, wehn restarted playing created another, new toon (still neutral, a lv l5 enforcer). I thought that ill play this new made character, cause the game has lot of new content and i have forgotten some of the game aspects, so i think ill be better off with a new toon, that jump in a lvl 200 one.

Hi guys, I too played AO for over 2 years, upto the point of Alien Invasion coming out, I was Omni through and through all that time, My toons made it as far as Penumbra in Shadowlands, but I never bought AI. AO was going through a tough time then and was losing a lot of players, my Org fell apart as most had been playing longer than me and had become a little bored. My own personal experiences on Rimor are as follows:
Far more clan than omni (most people like to play rebel chrs), Overall I found the Omni side a more mature set to group with (though I didn't go outside of the Org much I have to add, and this was my pre-TOG days). The raiding as I understand it on Atlantean you had to be a member of one of the controlling Orgs to get a chance to be in on it. On Rimor some kind people set up Raid bots which you registered with and they then notify you in chat when a raid was to start, e.g. Mercbot. When they released Shadowlands the economy went out of control through the dropping of ingots from hecklers (which also gave the best exp per kill) I'm not sure if that has balanced out now. I would think carefully about going the Neutral route as for SL this has serious implications (if I remember correctly) some content you can only go through if you aligned Omni or Clan. I'll see if I can find all my old links and post em for you. Sadly I stripped all my old toons for my last few friends in the game otherwise I had a hell of a lot to give Yipchun - Ex Omni Martial Artist

Speaking of links. If anyone needs to see Whompa and grid maps, my Ao site has had some made by me years ago. The grid map especially is unique in that you rarely see maps of the grid.

I've tried clan, but always end up going omni. I think there are more older players on the omni side. I'm one of the founders of the Omni Fallen Angels org. We have a large member base of mostly older players and a huge AI city. I'd be happy to answer any AO questions from folks. Also the new add on is coming out soon... Lost Eden... it wil include mechs and space bases.
