Woot I hear AO is now giving Notum Wars free with the basic AO package.
I may have to try this out again. Here is the link: http://www.funcom.com/wsp/funcom/fro...TENT&item=1004 Last edited by TrDuff; 2nd November 2006 at 01:32 PM. |

I saw a note somewhere that AO had a million players since they introduced the free play version. It sounds a bit high to me, maybe it was 1 mill toons?
Nice for AO anyway if there is a fair amount of people playing it ![]() I usually fall back into playing AO for a bit when I get tired of newer MMORPGs and are in the process of looking for another. Never stay particularly long on these rebounds though. But since it was my first MMORPG, there is some nostaliga involved which is fun for a while. |

Notum Wars is fun. My org has acouple fields and does well holding them. (fields are resource mining areas that must be taken, developed and defended) I've been inactive in AO for alitle while and Sente said I always go back for abit when the shine wears off of newer mmorpgs. AO is really a great game and has a great community. I wonder if free player can really compete in the pvp though. I have a couple froob acounts and without some of the stuff from Shadowlands and alien invasion it would be tough.
