![]() Apart from that, the game is great (if you liked Flashpoint) and much prettier than I expected. Although it's not really smooth with a GF7900 in 1280x1024 (with medium quality).

Excellent!!
Please feel free to post up any and every screenshot you want! Here in Aus, we've still got a three or more month wait apparently. Not too fair. I've got relatives in Cz, and considering using them! ![]() Is yours the Czech copy? or the German release?

It's the German release, I was surprised because I first entered my usual game store, just to check (release was supposed to be on the 30th) and then ... I saw the ArmA box. I just bought it and ran back home ;P
(lucky I'm living in Austria for few more weeks )Btw, I've quickly edited files to have the menu in english. Just unzip this archive in the game's folder

I too have tried the game on a 7800GTX 256mb in 1280x1024 with both high & medium quality at 1200m and felt it was not quite responsive enough, so I've gone back down to 1024x768 and that feels fine so far. It's going to take a little time to tweak this one perfectly, I think. It looks like it really is designed for future high-end PC's. Yeah, the graphics are very nice. I went for a wander and a fly through all the hills, valleys and forests and with the sun effect, it looks truly great. I felt like singing 'Sound of Music'. The close up textures look great. I think the buildings are the only graphics that could be a little more detailed, so far.I think we will start a new topic to specifically discuss the English Language conversions available for the various releases and what's involved and how much it covers. The 6thSense v0.3 Czech to English conversion looks fully complete, afaict. Anyone know if the game has a command to display fps (frames per second)? |

Yes this game is a hungry little video card beast. I have Radeon 1900xt with 2gb corsair ram and have to play at 1024x768. But in saying that the game still looks very very nice even at that resolution.
Only thing I have a problem with is, as previously posted, some of the buildings still look like cardboard cutouts as in OFP. Apart from that the game rocks and not a bunny hopping, noob nading, point whoring person to be seen. Bring on the full Aussie retail version!!! How long before we get a stand alone TOG ARMA forum and when do we get a TOG squad/s started etc etc....?
