Purpose:
This topic is for discussing the English Language conversions available for the various language releases (like Czech & German), what's involved and how much it translates (eg: menus, briefings, editor, etc). Post up any alternatives to suggested patches or any updates to these patches as you encounter them. Last edited by Dr_Eyeball; 30th November 2006 at 03:14 PM. |

6thSense Language Patch:
The official BI forums have a thread called How to play CZ/GER version completely in English which has a good full summary of 6thSense's language patch and where to download it. The same first post exists on the author's own web-site at 6thSense. Both posts have a complete history/change log which describes all you need to know. It looks like the 29/11/2006 v0.4 language patcher (6thSenseArmALanguagePatcherv0.4.exe) now handles both the Czech and German versions. Currently it only handles part of the German translations required. The patch only works with the original files, so I'd suggest keeping a full copy of your Arma folder for each new language patch. That's right 303.
Download v0.9, and unzip directly to your Program Files/Bohemia Interactive/ArmA directory. Then under that, check the 6thSense/Patches directory (from memory)... Double-click the appropriate Engl patcher. And you're done.
