Default Hello everybody!

I would like to be considered for membership in TOG. I have read and agree to the requested documents.

I just recently turned 32, so I've been gaming for a fair amount of time. The coleco-vision and atari 2600 were probably my hooks into the gaming world. Since then I've primarily played computer games over console, and since Everquest I'm spent most of my PC gaming in various MMORPGs. Currently I'm playing Vanguard and I'm considering going with the lifetime subscription for LoTRO.

In Vanguard I started to notice that it's kind of hard to find groups of people to adventure with so I began looking for a decent group of people. One problem I suffer from is that I'm a bit of an Alt-Aholic, so some guilds I've joined have a tendency to pass me up and leave me in the dirt. What drew me to TOG is looking at the guild standings on Vanguards website I noticed that not only is TOG a decently sized guild, but you all have a fair amount of Alt toons. Alt-friendly guilds are definitely something I need, as well as group-friendly guilds. I pay money to play online games with other people, not to play single player games. So far in Vanguard I've encountered too many solo people, and I'm hoping TOG could be the cure!

Besides Vanguard and LoTRO, I have played pretty much every major MMO I've come across. I spent time in EQ, DAoC, AO, E&B, AC2, WoW, GW, EQ2, CoH/CoV, and numerous beta tests. I still dabble a tiny bit in AO and GW since they're free, but am currently only paying for Vanguard, and possibly LoTRO soon. I miss E&B and AC2 something dreadful (sucky that two of my favorites had their plugs pulled), and I'm always tempted to go back to CoH/CoV, but at the moment I have the fantasy MMORPG itch... hehe.

I also enjoy many of the strategy games and click-fest games out there, I just don't really have anyone to play them with. I enjoy the Civ games, Warcraft games (love tower defense maps!!!), Diablo's, Dungeon Seige, Age of *** series, etc.

So if anyone likes to play any of the non-MMORPGs out there on occasion I'm definitely game!

As far as location and times, I'll be living in Cedar Rapids, IA in the next couple months (CST) and although I sometimes have a couple hours here and there during the week to play at night most of my play time will be on the weekends when my fiancee works. Well... soon-to-be fiancee. I'll be flashing a ring at her in the next couple months.

So to sum it all up before I write a book here... I'm hoping that TOG is full of a bunch of nice, mature people that enjoy a variety of games, but especially MMORPGs, and also people that aren't so hard-core that they can't spend some time playing around with an alt here and there. Vanguard is especially bad for me with alts since there are just so many neato classes to play!

In Vanguard I'm currently on Hilsbury, but I will be creating a few characters in a few minutes here on your chosen server. Look for toons named Demiden (will be a bard), Kalizaar (necro), and Milambrus (maybe BM or sorc, currently a BM on Hilsbury, but I usually save that name for straight magicers).

My playstyle usually has me playing support characters and pet classes, although I like to toy with melee and straight casters now and then. And I prefer hybrids over purely one-role toons.

Hope to hear from you soon!
