Howdy All.

Allow me to introduce myself. I am Colt.... or Colt374 on other forums and games. Before I go any further, let me confirm I have read both the Acceptable Use Policy and the FAQ, qand yes, I would like to become a member of Older Gamers.

Now, a bit about myself :

Age : 33
Locale : Gosford, NSW, Australia
Occupation : Computer Operator
Martial Status : Wife and 2 sons, (4 and 8 years)
Interests : Gaming (), Literature, Martial Arts, Strategy and Military History.
Games I play : Strategy and Racing games mostly, with some FPS and a smattering of RTS'. Currently I am playing : Medieval 2 Total War, Battlefield 2 and 2142, Elder Scrolls Oblivion, Europa Universalis 3, Hearts of Iron 2 Doomsday, Civilization IV Warlords, Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, Flight Simulator X, GTR 2, Race WTCC, Flatout 2, NFS Carbon, Star Wars Empire at War. And some others.
I also dabble in Emulation software of all sorts.

Online I only play BF2142 ATM, but I hope to change that here on Older Gamers.

I am a member of AusClan, which is a Battlefield 2142 clan predominately. While not currently in the BF2142 ladder team due to my work roster, if I became a member of Older Gamers I would not join the 2142 team here due to the obvious conflict of interest. However I do want to start both discussing and playing other games online, and since Ausclan pretty much don't play or discuss anything besides 2142, I've decided to come here to see what's what.


Thus my summary is done. On a TOG related note I have run into (sometimes literally) a few of your members while playing BF2142 and have always found them decent. I also like to make the occasional stop in to see what reviews and such you have on the front page. I love that you have members doing that... Could inspire me to submit some of my own if the option is available.

Anyhow, thanks for having me here. I hope to spend more and more time here as I get to know everyone.
