TOG - The Older Gamers

Hi,

I was primarily looking for an european WoW (Deathwing) guild, when I ran across TOG. I haven't really played computer games for the better part of a year, but as I suddenly became single I picked up my druid and started playing WoW:Burning Crusade. There are many young players in WoW, and while that is ok for the odd instance, I can't really connect with my 14 year old guildmates. As a result I often do quests alone or with my real-life friends, but I'm not really getting any new friends. I seem to have missed the "community" part of MMRPG gaming, and I thought maybe a membership in TOG would remidy that.

I am currently writing my masters thesis (on OWL/logic/life-cycle management datamodels) and will be done doing that in the near future. After living with my gf. for some time, I've now moved back to my old room in my parents house to finish my masters. Which is as much fun as it sounds. Less gf. equals more time equals more WoW.

Back to gaming: I'm a causual gamer, with the occational all-night-long periods (as when I got my druid to lvl 60). My thesis will probably make me unavailable from time to time, but I'll never completely stop playing. (unless, God forbid, I get another computer-hating girlfriend).

This became a long post, sorry for that. The main points are I'm >25yo, I'm looking for a WoW guild, I'd really like to join yours

How embarrasing

I'm from Norway, Oslo. I play whenever I feel like it, as the only thing I'm doing now is writing my thesis. This means that late nights and/or early mornings are no hindrance. However, to keep a semblance of structure my days are typically built around 8-10 hours work from early morning. The rest of the day is free to relax, and thats when I usually play WoW. My in-game name on WoW-EU server Deathwing is Maximillian (62 druid), and I have a Blood Elf alt (who doesnt) called Ouicked.

I have read AUP (The first one ever I've actually read

, the TOG FAQ and the forum/server guidelines.

And just to cover all of the three points. I'm 27.
