Default Question :)

I hope this is the appropriate place to ask this. I am currently a member (for several years) of an Unreal Tournament gaming clan. I'm interested in joining a GuildWars guild. I know you can't be in two GW guilds at the same time.

Would I be able to maintain my membership with my UT clan and be a TOG member just for the GW guild membership? I meet all the TOG membership criteria, I am 50 y.o., etc.

BoneBlade,

No worries about your other clan. TOG is a gaming community that plays MANY games. Have a read of the FAQ/AUP and forum and server guidelines... Post that you have read and agree to them, and we can get you TOGerized. You will then have access to all things TOG and you can get in touch with the Guild Wars Division.

@ Borac: thanks for your response, however I wasn't formally applying until I knew there wouldn't be a conflict maintaining membership with a non-TOG UT clan.
@ Rajtinka: thanks for your response, I wasn't sure from the FAQ whether there would be a conflict, but it sounds like there won't be, so I'll make a formal application now

1. I am 50 years old.
2. I have read the FAQ, AUD
3. I have read the Forum/Server Guidelines
and I agree with 2 & 3

I live in New Mexico, USA (recently moved here from Arkansas)
I am married and have a 26 year old son and a 21 year old daughter
I am a therapist and my hobbies are programming, game design, game playing!!, and painting.
I am a retired Marshall of a UT clan called the "Virtual Space Cowboys"
I am new to MMORPGs and just started playing GuildWars.

First game I recall playing a lot was the black and white asteroids arcade, then pacman, some, both on the big arcade machine before desktops became widely available computers. That was 34 years ago, just a couple of years before the Tandy, Commodore and Apple II hit the market.

I've always been drawn to the FPS genre, Wolfenstein, Doom, Hexen, HexenWorld, Soldier of Fortune, then UT and its revisions where I've been for the past 6 years.
