Salutations fellow travellers, I beg a moment of your time to tell my tale.
Well that's the RP intro done now onto the reason I'm posting here, recently I find myself wandering the wonderful landscapes of the LoTR universe on my own and in an MMO that's not the way to really enjoy yourself so I am knocking at your door to seek some shelter and perhaps meet up with some new and friendly ppl to explore the game with.
A little about me then, well I'm 37 male and married to one of the workers from the Willy Wonka factory, yes she is a dorf but no she hasn't been able to grow a beard yet, (though her top lip is getting a little hairy!) we have 3 children, I won't say wonderful because that just isn't true, they are the spawn of Satan and they are here to make my life hell, so far they are doing a great job.
I hail from the shores of the UK, although I have lived in other parts of the world while I was serving in her majesty's armed forces for 11yrs (Royal Corps of Signals) since then I have moved back to my home town in Norfolk.
My MMO gaming experience covers about 70 to 80 MMO's so far, from Beta testing to free trials although the bulk of those games are ofc from the Asian gaming market (Once you;ve played one Korean game you've played them all) I have since 2003 been part of a community very much like this, Northstar Alliance, while with them I have nurtured interest in new MMO's that have hit the market, we played Horizons/Lineage 2/City of Heroes/Starwars Galaxies/Everquest 2 and currently WoW, unfortunately there is no interest in forming a Kinship within LoTR so I am having to look for something that is familiar to the way I like to play and although there is an obvious time difference between us this community seems to be a mirror image of my own.
As for outside interests I enjoy a little squash and the odd workout in the Gym but nothing too physical, my oldest son also keeps me on my toes as he too likes to play MMO's and he is quite adept at PvP and is already enjoying the monster play.
So thats me in a nutshell, thanks for taking the time to read this
