Lightbulb Membership request...

Hello all. I'm a 44 year old gamer was browsing a guild wars guru guild recruitment forum when I found Ona Nae's post for older gamers.

I have read and agreed to both the FAQ and AUP.

I have played many games between my TRS80 (booted from cassette) , Atari 1040ST (still in my office closet) to my current PC & Mac systems. I also have to admit that Guild Wars is my first beyond trial MMORPG. I have mostly stayed away due to the monthly cost (big on one time spends).

After having played the original Doom, I quickly moved to other online games including Outwars, Tribes 1 & 2, America's Army and Battlefield 2 where I gamed with a common group of folks. We have since all moved on to different games with most going to WoW. I went the GW route for the reason mentioned above.

As for my characters, I have mostly played a Ranger (Hak Darbin) or Monk (Hak Darbin Jr.) until recently when I got into an Elementalist (Flash Darbin - currently hunting bows in Urgoz Warren) and finally my current favorite Necromancer (Meat Hearder). All have run around all three games with my last two moving from continent to continent as the mood takes me.

I am very interested in a low maintenance Guild to help others (and occasionally be helped) as needed. I have been in one other Guild (Kurzik) but it was a first time mistake after having waited 10 months to join one where the players and the guild creator disappeared and faction dropped to nothing except the occasional amount myself and one other put in.

I am really looking for an active guild with no forseeable demise in site and based on what I have read about TOG would be very interested in joining.

Thank you for the consideration.
