Applying to become a member of TOG

Hello all,

When I read the TOG FAQ I had to go through it several times, the description is almost like someone wrote about me!! , so I decided to apply for a membership so I can get to know more people like me.

I will go through the points that you want the application to contain:
- You are over 25 years of age.
Yes, last time I checked I was 27 and growing fast.
- You have read the AUP & FAQ
Yes, at first the FAQ scared me, someone had taken my lifestyle and put it on the Internet, but now I understand it might be more people like me out there (even if my girlfriend keep telling me it's only me).
- You have read the forum/server guidelines.
Yes I read/understood them

Location:
Live in Piteå, Sweden, but born in Trondheim, Norway

Gaming history:
I'm probably a newbie in here, but I started gaming with the C64 (those where the days, still listening to c64 music a lot). The games I like the best and also spend most time with are RPG games (I have to be able to level up/advance and make "unique" characters), but sometimes I also play FPS games where I prefer UT before Battlefield and such (I never got into the whole CS thingy). Today most of my game time goes to MMORPG's where I have been playing; Asherons Call 1 & 2, WoW (not anymore), SWG, AO, MxO, EQ2, Horizons, Ultima Online, Eve Online and now Lotro. Beside an account in Lotro I still pay for 2 accounts in Asherons Call (just can't afford to loose them, sentimental thing).

What do I do for a living:
Now I work as a system administrator, mainly an MSExchange system administrator, in a big company in Sweden (compared to other Euro/US etc we are probably a tiny company). Before that I used to work as a Scandinavian support technician for a big US software developer company (Note 1 I was located in Sweden then also) (Note 2 I don't dare to mention the name of the company on any forum, because people would probably slap-me-silly).

What are my interests:
I have a girlfriend (not gotten around to get married yet) and we just got our first born 2 months ago (probably the last one as well :P ). Other than those two, computers/computer games I like to watch sports on tv and in real life. Mostly I follow Norwegian soccer called Tippeligaen, but most sports are of interest.


From the beginning my hopes was to join the European Lotro guild. I will not get my collectors edition before next week, and if they don't extend the pre-order time I will not be able to play before I get my big package in the mail

I think thats all what I have to say, but if you have any questions or something is unclear just let me know and I can see what I can do about it. But whatever happens I will probably see you around, one way or another
