Howdy fellow gamers
I was browsing AoC website after work and while waiting for the fishsoup to be ready browsed the link for guilds. Mainly to check if there would be any guilds I would remember from other games. The guild name for TOG aroused my sleeping mind with curiosity.
After doing a tad of browsing and reading I thought I would apply for membership as I've been fed up with the childish people in most online games be it Muds, Morpgs etc. Am 26 years of age now. And ofcourse I've read AUP, FAQ and guidlines. I hail from Finland, city of Tampere. Timezone is GMT +2 hrs, I play randomly on the week in evenings and around the day on weekends when I got time from other chores. Mainly 17.00-22.00 GMT +2. I've owned computer since I got my C-64 when I was seven, been playing since more or less. Am a fan of variety of boardgames, rpgs and cardgames. Am a fan of fantasy and medieval things in general. These days my time is spent mostly working and with my family. Family includes a wife-to-be, her 3 children and were going to try for a fourth one (as I like kids and want one of my own so to speak). My GF is a housewife at the moment and I'm a construction worker with regular 8hrs 5 times a week work schedule. Reason for applying is that I wanted to find Age of Conan guild, since I love gaming with others, with mature fellow gamers who are after fun and laughs mostly. I've played Anarchy Online and World of Warcraft mostly. I've also played wide variety of muds during my "solo" life. TOG sounds just perfect for me since I can't be a HC player anymore (my own choosing since I love to play around with the kids and fondle my GF), but when I play I want to be able to find friendly people instead of having to rely on luck on either getting old immature people or if lucky fun and mature company to team with. Been considering of getting my hands on WoW expansion and maybe trying it again, but since I quitted it a year ago and most of my old RL friends not playing anymore probably won't. I guess that's recent me in a nutshell. Your's Teary
