Default No 14 year olds screaming on vent? Sign me up!

Ok, may as well get the formalities out of the way first. I'm over 25 (28 to be exact), I've read the AUP, I've read the FAQ, and I've read the forum/server guidelines. I do solemnly swear to uphold the etc, etc, etc.

Now, for the not-so-juicy details. I've been gaming in one form or another since the days of the Atari 2600, and as of 3 months ago I actually make them for a living, so I guess you could say I like games. These days I mostly use my PC to play MMOs, with the odd RTS or FPS thrown in, though I haven't really been able to get into an online FPS bigtime since RTCW. I've tried each of the Battlefield games, but the shine wears off pretty fast. I'm hoping TF2 (when it eventually comes out), might be the one that gets me back into enjoying FPS online, but we'll see I guess.

At the moment, I'm pretty much just playing WoW, and recently (as of yesterday), Lord of the rings online. I play WoW on Jubeithos, Alliance, but my interest in it has been waning, and I was looking for something new and different, and a friend of mine (same guy who pointed me here, Obes) gave Lotro the thumbs up so I went out yesterday and grabbed it. So far, I'm liking it, its fresh and new and exactly what I needed after playing WoW for the last however many years. I'll probably still keep WoW going, just for raiding, but I think Lotro is going to get the majority share of my time for now.

Aside from my PC I enjoy console gaming and have a Wii and an XBox 360 too. Can't justify the cost of a PS3 at the moment and theres nothing on it I really give a damn about, but I'm sure that'll change somewhere down the line.

Anyway, I dunno how long these introduction posts are meant to be, so I might leave it there for now.
