App to join TOG in BF2

Hey there fellow old people.

Let me first introduce myself. My rl name is Damien, I'm 32 and I've played various online games under various names. Some of you might remember me as [SMAK]TheMonkey or prior to that [TEA]CombatMonkey.

I've been around online games for about a decade now and have seen and played against TOG for much of that time in BF1942, BFV, Desert Combat and now BF2. I don't remember playing against you guys in the various forms of Quake and HL though I'm sure you were all around. I also ran one of the more successful TFC clans called [BBQ] as [BBQ]OMEN though that would be dredging up some ancient memories.

I've had a bit of an absence from FPS games for a couple of years after WoW took over my keyboard time but I've recently come back and I'm playing BF2. I helped run Whitehand on Proudmoore and XLVII on Frostmourne.

I'm currently playing as Zakria in BF2 and while the skills are a little rusty they're coming back fast. I can play as most classes though prefer assault. SMAK used to use me as a chopper pilot and also for close in assault work (mmm shotgun heaven). Currently not flying in BF2 though as my joystick didn't make the move to Melbourne too healthy and I'll be the first to admit I cannot do more than fly a to b with a mouse. I also cannot snipe.

4. I live in the Melbourne CBD.
5. I can currently play at any time as I've been taking a 6 month holiday though starting work again soon so match availability will be reduced to 2 nights per week or anytime during the day.

Looking forward to hearing from you about this app. I miss team based FPS games and have always wondered if one day I might end up in TOG.

Heyas, I remember a few of them clan tags, espeacally from BF:V. Welcome to TOG. I am sure you will fit right in, but first you need to have a read through this STICKIE then one of the Greenie Weenies can TOGerize you.
