TOG - The Older Gamers

Hello all!

I just found this site and guys and gals seem like just what I'm looking for; a bunch of people who love games but understand that life has to come first (and that talking in l33t speak - and making you character jump up and down - are not forms of in game entertainment)!

First, the official bit...

- I'm currently 36 (born December 1970)
- I've read the AUP and FAQ (btw, someone needs to add "Vanguard" to the "Games Played at TOG" section

...and now, the drivel.

I live in Marrickville, in Sydney, with my wife (who plays WoW) and baby daughter (who doesn't play anything, yet...). This means that my prime gaming time is about 8pm-10pm a few nights a week and whenever possible on the weekend...

Gaming history?

I've owned a Vic20, C64, Amiga 500 and several PC's (starting at a PII-233 running Win95)

I've played pretty much everyone else has but the relevant MMO's would be: EQ1, DAOC, EQ2, EVE, WoW, DDO & currently Vanguard.

...and I'm probably looking at Conan when it comes out.

Well, I hope that's enough to get me into TOG. If not, I'm going to take my keyboard and mouse and go home!
