New to the ole gamers
Hi all,
Joined a couple days ago. I caught wind of this group from a Yahoo list I am part of. I play WOW on the Terrokar server - have both alliance and horde toons. If anyone is looking for a good group of old gamers, the guilds I am in are full of 35 to 68 year olds. We do have a couple youngsters who are children of some of our players, but they are decent. I like the mature atmosphere, and it is definitely different seeing in the chat people talking about their kids and grandkids, rather than some of the stuff I've heard in other guilds about their teenage lives/relationships and about mom/dad, or the infighting that seems to come up all too often. Anyway, I am glad I've found another group of older gamers to enjoy. What are the best areas in this forum group to discuss wow?????? I see there are many divisions of forum groups here. Very good.
I am 50 yrs old and fighting it to the max. My real name is Bill, and although I have Finnish in the blood, I live in northern Wisconsin (born and raised), USA, have a wonderful wife(who allows me to play "That Game") everyday, 2 children (23 and 21) and a 9 month old grandson whom I spoil constantly  .I have read and agree to the AUP, FAQ's, and FSG's. I have played WOW now for almost 2 years. I also played EQ2 for about 4 months. In the past I have played a lot other games, Balur's Gate, NWN, and a strategy type game called Master of Magic (loved that game). Of course I also played on the old Atari and Nintendo game consoles. Have always loved reading the Fantasy types of books, D&D, Forgotten Realms, LOTR's, etc. Hopefully this fulfill's the obligation in order to become a full member of your community!! Finlander |
