Request for TOG-ification

Hi all,

I am 34 (I think, I lost count after 25) and have read the appropriate paraphernalia so that I might not be spanked for my intrusion into this forum.

A child of the Apple II (Ultima II) gaming generation. I also went through the C64 and Amiga stages, and was financially bankrupt every week due to arcade addiction.

Recovery from the arcade addiction was imposed in later years by very little innovation in arcade game designs (they became boring) and was replaced by the equally financially detrimental tabletop gaming addiction.

The computer game addiction continued in a subdued form, but was fortunately restricted buy the fact that I was an Apple technician, and the number of games were limited, but at least they were timeless, and I was the first at my workplace to finish Marathon.

All these dependancies abated when marriage came nocking, and although the urge was there, the finances were not. Besides all I needed was StarCraft and I had a computer fast enough to run that.

A friend introduced me to COD2 but after completion, it started to become just another FPS. Then I found the TOG servers and gamers that understand that it's not just about running in and killing as many as you can and hope that your kills count outweigh your death count.

Anyhow, I hope my application is successful and I can proudly wear the TOG badge in future battle.
