TOG - The Older Gamers

Greetings guys,

I'm an old school MMO'er. I was there the day EQ started and have never been without an MMO since. EQ, Daoc, EvE, COH, LOTRO[beta], PS have all been part of my evenings at one time or another.

Over the years old guildies and connections have blown across the four corners of the mmo landscape. I have long since wished for a place that kept us all together outside of the game.

That is why I am here.

A bit about my history.

I've always found myself playing a soloable support class that can also pack a punch in PVP. Shaman, Druid, Healer, Cabalist, Zerker, Enchanter, Cleric's and the like have all been fun classes to play.

I've played in 5 member guilds and have had a blast. I have played in uber guilds like [Bedlam]Iseult and [Talon Guard]Bertox and have had a blast. Over the years its been proven time and time again that it's the members of the guild that determine the fun of the experience. I always seem to have the best time with informed, easy going players.

I've often found myself pressed into officer status, but I prefer to follow orders on the front line. I typically find myself with few hours a night around 8pm pst to play and I find playing at a casual pace makes the game the most enjoyable.

I'd like to be considered as a member so that I can see if I can meet a few TOG members and hopefully make some cursory plans for the Warhammer beta and release.

Please take some time to read this: Potential Members PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE POSTING and the other sticky posts at the top of this forum. They detail what is needed in order to become a full TOG member.

We need to know:

Are you over the age of 25?
Have you read and agreed to the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and FAQs
Have you read and agreed to the Forum and Server Guidelines.

Post back here with the required info and we can get you full access to the site (TOGerised).

Welcome to TOG, your application has been reviewed and approved.

You will now have full access to all parts of the tog website including:

Your membership also includes access to various tog only servers, get-together, events, and other exclusives for this 25 and over only organization.

Undoubtedly you want to get started and the best place to start is to visit the main forum for the game in which you are interested, have a read of the sticky posts and other threads that catch your attention.

Visit tog's very own laboratory forum & see the cage full of helpful geeks. Not only can they assist in your troubleshooting, but they also like to help with upgrade & new computer advice.
