My name is David Shook.

1. I am 36 years old. Gosh, has it been that long.
2. I have read the AUP and the FAQ.
3. I have read the posting guidelines.

I am a happily married father of three wonderful children. We enjoy playing, reading, gardening and just generally being together. My wife and I have both lived in Newton, NC, USA all our lives.

I am a middle school teacher at the local public middle school. I teach 8th graders science and social studies. Well, as a fellow teacher of mine says, "I keep pitchin', they might not be hittin'." My wife is returning to teaching in August after staying home with our kids for the last few years.

My kids and I enjoying playing on the PC and our PS2. We all love racing games. (My son is a big Jeff Gordan fan.) Personally, I enjoy playing Guild Wars Nightfall after the kids have gone to bed or on a lazy Saturday or Sunday afternoon. As I have read in TOG materials, I enjoy the stress relief it provides. (Sometimes it adds stress, but it is a different kind of stress.) I'm really new at the online game business and have been worried about getting invovled due to some of the attitudes and language from other players on the 'net. That's a big reason I won't let my son play yet.

I really want to join the Guild Wars TOG Guild to learn more about the game and meet new friends with similar interests.
