TOG - The Older Gamers

Hello TOG!

Let's start with the three items required for joining TOG.

1. I am 33 years old.
2. I have read the AUP and FAQ and accept all terms and conditions.
3. I have read the server/forum guildlines and accept all terms and conditions.

Now about myself. I have been playing games since the Atari 2600. I play both Console and PC games. The systems I play on are XBOX 360, PS3, PS2, Wii, NDS, PSP and my PC. My favorite genres are RPG, MMOs, Platformers, Survival Horror, etc...

I have been married for three years and have a son who is almost 2 years old.

I play whenever I can. During the week I usually start playing games after 10pm although I could start earlier, just depends on my wife and son.

As for work I have been in the gaming industry for almost 9 years. I am currently an Associate Producer at Activision.

I look forward to meeting a good group of people I can play some games with. I saw the TOG post of the Gods and Heroes: Rome Rising forums and hope to find a good group of people to play GnH when it comes out or if some of us are lucky enough in the GnH Beta.

I quit WoW a few months ago as the End Game really bugs me. (I can't raid 5 hours a day and run the same content over and over again for 6 months for high end gear.) I have tried every MMO since Ultima Online and am currently messing around with LOTR although I have not played too much.

Games I am eagerly waiting for, Gods and Heroes, Warhammer MMO, Age of Conan, Super Mario Galaxy, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Blue Dragon, the list goes on and on.

Undoubtedly you want to get started and the best place to start is to visit the main forum for the game in which you are interested, have a read of the sticky posts and other threads that catch your attention.
