new membership
Hi my names Rod I live in Victoria Australia and would like to become a member of the reputable TOG. Just been converted from my Playstation 2 (with dissapointment regarding online games)to PC gaming, so keen to battle & link up with other players. I am 32 years old, & always loved games since the days of asteroids. I have read the AUP & FAQ and the forum/server guidlines. Just bought Battlefield 2 and currently playing 9 Dragons online.

Nah, there's no difficult sign-up for BF2 at all! Just post in the BF2 forum (The Hot Spot) and say G'day when you are ready (or not) and play away. There's no pressure to join a squad at all, but that option is there for you at any time. There are four Australian Squads currently running, and they'd all welcome some new members!
One of the squads is gunning for the top Ladder positions (pun intended) and there are some requirements before joining them - Phoenix. As for the others, it's just about the people and the attitudes of each of them. But, as I say, there's no pressure to compete, nor to "officially" join a squad. But if you do, there's a lot more to get out of the game, and plenty of good laughs to be had. Enjoy your time at TOG! |
