TOG - The Older Gamers

HI Folks,

In playing my way through WOW (World of Warcraft) I have heard about this guild. I do have a rather avid interest in computing, networking and gaming but unfortunately for me I have not found that any of my friends of the same age do. I am female and 51, married with 2 children. I have felt a bit alone with my fascination (at least I can talk about it with my kids).

However, since your group came to my notice I thought that if I could join I may find some like minded people to chat and share the adventures with.

Unfortunately I am in my fifties so my response times are not as quick as the youngsters but I try.

My current preferred game is WOW and my main character is a 69 warlock, Meks who resides on the Proudmore server. I have been playing this game, when I can, for about 20 months.

I started out with a priest (currently level 62) but have found that soloing is a lot easier with a warlock and so over a period of time, this has become my main.

Unfortunately I am unable to lock into a regualar raiding timetable but when the chance presents itself I would love to be able to attend.

Currently (and for too many years) I have been in full time employment.

My WOW characters are currently in guilds but as most of the members of these guilds appear to be quite young I would prefer to join a group that is more like-minded.

I am unsure of the procedure of being accepted into the guild. I would appreciate if you could let me know if I should quit the guild that my warlock is in immediately, or should I wait to hear if my application is successful?

I can confirm that

1) I am over 25 years of age
2) I have read the AUP and FAQ
3) I have read the forum/server guidelines.
