TOG - The Older Gamers

Hello!

1. I am 39 years old.
2. I have read the AUP and FAQ.
3. I have read the server/forum guidelines.

I am 39 work in the IT field. I grew up in the mid-west, but currently live in southern California .

I have been around computers just about as long as I can remember. As I was growing up, my father's hobby was building computers, so I was exposed to them before they were commonplace around most houses. I have literally seen early computers with LEDs and no screens (teletype output), early Sinclaires, Commodore Vic-20, 64, 180, Amiga on up.

I have also been playing computer games just about as long as I can remember. I literally remember playing 'Hunt the Wumpus' on a teletype set up in my parents' bedroom in the 70's (my mom always was a tolerant soul

). During the Commodore years I had just about everything going for the Commodore 64.

I enjoy many different types of games and have quite a collection. My tastes range from MMORPGs to strategy to Flight Simulator.

Currently I have been enjoying LOTRO and play on the Elendilmir server (in fact, I discovered TOG on their forums). I have a 47 burglar and a 32 champion. I am currently in a small kinship with several friends, so am not looking for a new kinship at this time. I am however, looking for new responsible friends that I can hook up with and help out on a regular basis.

I work during the week, so tend to play on the evenings and weekends.
