Guys
I understand there has been a little controversy over my usage of the TOG tag recently. First of all let me assert that ... 1. I am definitely over 25 years of age. 2. I have read the AUP & FAQ 3. I have read the forum/server guidlines. I originally signed up to TOG as "ThePommy" in 2006 when I played Counterstrike frequently. They my wife had a baby and all hell broke loose. Gaming became a dim distant memory until recently when I bought BF2142 a new computer and signed up as SourNois. The reason for the new login was I had forgotten my original "ThePommy". My first soldier was "SourNois" but I did not use the tags. Wongdai has known me for a while and I played CS with him last year. I just started a new soldier and should have posted the new name - then worse I started using the tag - then worse still spelt them wrong - then even worse still realised that I had never made the original post in the Barracks when I joined first time. All I can say is SORRY BIG TIME. Happy to remove the tag until I have earned your trust again. My new soldier is "Smux". Very Sheepish SourNois, Smux or ThePommy. |

Thx for the apology SourNois, and you don't need to worry about not wearing the tags, just wear em right  Obviously what added to the confusion was that Wongdai obviously seemed confused about what we meant by "Member" (As he vehemently stated that you were in fact, a member) it would seem he took it to mean "Registered Member", when in fact we meant "Full Member", which of course includes making the post, as you have done here  The dramas come from the large amount of people who smurf with TOG tags and cause problems and bring the TOG name into disrepute, this happens across all games, so we take the TOG tags pretty seriously. As for having a different in-game name, you can go into "UserCP" (Top left) and go to "Edit Profile" and add your in-game tag to the "In-game Alts" field, which is then searchable, so if anyone thinks you are not a member, you can tell them to search your gamer tag in Membersearch>Advanced (To avoid any further issues )Anyhoo, Welcome to TOG, go and say G'day in the 2142 forum
