Howdy older gamers,

As with most posts in this forum section I'm seeking to become a member of TOG.

First off I wish to confirm I have read and agree to the AUP, FAQ & forum/server guidelines.

I would also like to confirm I am over 25 years of age. In fact I'll be turning the big 30 in December of this year. Scary.

Now a bit about myself.

Been a gamer since I was five years old and have had the privalege of seeing this fledgling industry grow into the force it is today.

By day I work as a marketing consultant for a company by the name of Alkemi International but by night I fight crime... well... actually I don't.

By night I am actually a computer games journalist (as much as I hate the word journalist in this context... writer seems more appropriate but that makes me sound like I write video games and not about them. But I digress). I write for a publication that most Australian PC gamers should know about called PC Powerplay.

Despite the PC focus you would expect from someone who writes about them each month I do also spend a significant amount of time with consoles. My living room currently holds a PS2, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii. In my jacket pockets I am want to carry my DS and my PSP.

Yup. I like games.
