I certainly qualify as older than 25 - nearly 3 times older. I've been a computer gamer since Pong and Space Invaders, but I've almost exclusively played RPGs since my sons gave be the original Wizardry for our Apple II in 1981. Since then I've played virtually all the available RPGs for the Apple and Macintosh and since about 1995, for the PC - up to and including Oblivion. Lately I've ventured into World of Warcraft where I've reached level 36. I thought this might be the perfect RPG until I started running out of solo quests and needed groups or guilds to continue. I guess I'm not a great group member, I'm basically a hack and slash type with limited dexterity and poor keyboarding skills, so my interactions are slow and laboured. I joined a guild but have not done anything there, the messages I read from the guild seem to be in code, totally beyond a person who has never SMSed in his life. Is there a MMORPG with more solo play than World of Warcraft or must I persevere with group play or revert to single player RPGs like Oblivion?

You will find MMO's are what they say, Massively Multiplayer games. There is a lot of solo content but it seems your moving to the dry section of the game. Grouping with guild members is always fun and most will want you to get on Teamspeak or Ventrillo, if you can only listen that's fine. It helps to communicate to people what to do an so forth.

Cover the last few parts for your application and you should be set, then once your approved jump on down to the WoW Forums and introduce yourself, letting people know what server your playing on as well.

PS. An MMO with a lot to do solo would be EVE Online though, it's a Sci-Fi (Space) MMO which I also play.
