Default I'm getting in line..

Lord Flashard on the MEO forums recommended you guys to us.

We have been playing on the Landroval server and heard of The Osgiliath Guard on a different server, and are moving to try it out.

My wife and I are 32, and we have one precocious daughter. We have recently bought a fixer house that was a rental for 25 years, and spend most of our time working on it. I am staying home with my daughter until pre-school, and then I will go back to work.

I am a huge Warhammer Online fan, and I am a moderator at Warhammer Alliance, the primary forum for that MMO.

I don't get a lot of gaming time in MEO due to my moderation commitments, and my attempts to make a meaningful impact in the WAR beta. Typically, we duo together because our playtimes are erratic and we are so often interrupted.

For my part, I have long grown weary of taking chance after chance on a group of kids, only to find the same old thing - I just don't have enough in common with their interests. Though there are exceptions, in my WoW roleplaying guild I was great friends with a kid of all but 15, he was serious, mature, and though his outlook was different, it was great to see that rare exception; someone with a good head on their shoulders. It doesn't matter how old you are in that count, fools are fools no matter the age.

Just the same, I'm looking for a group of folk who at least know what it is to juggle responsibilities and the importance of gaming coming behind those other responsibilities, something younger people just don't seem to actually appreciate no matter what is said when it comes time to group up - understanding and compassion make all the difference in building friendships.

Of course, I have read and agree to the necessities.

With that,
I wait in line

~Shape

Hello.

Did the two of you want seperate accounts so you can post independantly of eachother? If so, I'd recommend that your wife to also create an account and post here to get TOGerized.

As for yourself...

Welcome to TOG, your application has been reviewed and approved.

You will now have full access to all parts of the tog website including:
  • All tog member only forums
  • All member only areas of the website
Your membership also includes access to various tog only servers, get-together, events, and other exclusives for this 25 and over only organization.

Undoubtedly you want to get started and the best place to start is to visit the main forum for the game in which you are interested, have a read of the sticky posts and other threads that catch your attention.

Make sure you introduce yourself and ask any further questions you may have. tog members are very helpful so don't be shy....ask away

The social heart of tog can be found in "the lounge room". there are lively discussions on many subjects as well as information on real life get togethers. If you want to know the other tog members across the whole of tog visit the lounge room.

Got a technical problem?

Visit tog's very own laboratory forum & see the cage full of helpful geeks. Not only can they assist in your troubleshooting, but they also like to help with upgrade & new computer advice.
DISCLAIMER: use the geeks' advice at your own risk. they are just tog members like you & may not be fully qualified computer technicians

OH NO! I've signed up with the lamest nick name on the internet!

No worries. Our fully trained forum administrators can help. Simply post your request for a name change in 'the desk' forum & the admins will leap into action & change it for you.
