TOG - The Older Gamers

Greetings TOG,

Im a 37 year old long time gamer looking for a gaming community to join. I saw TOG listed on the Warhammer Alliance forum as a clan that was going to be getting into Warhammer Online when it launches. After looking over your site and forums TOG seems exactly the sort of community/clan I am looking for.

As I said Im a long time gamer - of both table top games and video games. Gaming in any form is my main hobby, and there are few things that I like more ... well perhaps dogs and beer. I enjoy fair play, good sportsmanship and good company when I play games - I like to think I bring those traits with me and I prefer to have like minded company.

I enjoy all sorts of computer gaming but mostly strategy/wargames (currently Medieval Total War II and Silent Hunter IV), MMORPGs (WoW and hopefully sooner that later Warhammer Online!), and I occasionally pick up a FPS to play (last one I was into was GRAW).

If accepted into TOG I would mostly be looking to game MMORPGs with other TOG members. In fact Im sort of the point man for a few 30 something gaming friends who are looking to join a clan like TOG to facilitate finding other like minded gamers for WoW and Warhammer Online (my friends will be applying after me some point this week.)

Please take some time to read this: Potential Members PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE POSTING and the other sticky posts at the top of this forum. They detail what is needed in order to become a full TOG member.

We need to know:

Are you over the age of 25?
Have you read and agreed to the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and FAQs
Have you read and agreed to the Forum and Server Guidelines.

Post back here with the required info and we can give you full access to the site (TOGerised).

Welcome to TOG, your application has been reviewed and approved.

You will now have full access to all parts of the tog website including:

All tog member only forums
All member only areas of the website

Your membership also includes access to various tog only servers, get-together, events, and other exclusives for this 25 and over only organization.

Undoubtedly you want to get started and the best place to start is to visit the main forum for the game in which you are interested, have a read of the sticky posts and other threads that catch your attention.

Make sure you introduce yourself and ask any further questions you may have. tog members are very helpful so don't be shy....ask away

The social heart of tog can be found in "the lounge room". there are lively discussions on many subjects as well as information on real life get togethers. If you want to know the other tog members across the whole of tog visit the lounge room.

Got a technical problem?

Visit tog's very own laboratory forum & see the cage full of helpful geeks. Not only can they assist in your troubleshooting, but they also like to help with upgrade & new computer advice.
