Potential new member

Hi, I am a 26 year old male from Australia, looking to join The Older Gamer. I am interested in this site because:
1) I often have trouble juggling home responsibilities with gaming time, and
2) When i do get online i am often forced to endure some fairly inmmature flaming by the youngsters.

I'm a fairly casual gamer, interested in FPS and RTS.

PS I have read the user agreement, FAQ, and forum guidelines

Badhead - I played AA for a bit, but got discouraged in the training missions! (how embarassing :P) - I couldn't get a passable score in the training mission where you have to shoot cardboard cutouts of terrorists in a wooden 'house' (maybe the problem was I kept shooting the good guys too?)
^^ - maybe I should stop being a wuss and give it another go...

BTW, can i ask?: Is TOG a community or a clan or a bit of both? I am enjoying just reading the forums and hope to meet up with some toggers online soon, but is it common to use TOG as a clan tag in your handle etc?

Have you considered giving Unreal Tournament a try....down in the Core we don't worry about little things like can you shoot.... We just kill everything and anything that moves.
