Greetings TOG!
I've been a vidiot since my dad built his own Heathkit version of Pong and hooked it up to the TV through the UHF terminals! I turned 41 this summer and just can't seem to hang up my mouse, a fact my wife of 12 years constantly rolls her eyes at. I tried several times to get her hooked on the same hobby to no avail... so I turned to other family members (insert evil laugh here). I got my sister hooked on gaming back in the Diablo days. That was fun because it was one of the first environments where we could play the same game together even though we lived across town. Now I spend a lot of time in the City of Heroes franchise, running a small supergroup that is mostly also populated by TOG candidates, my sister among them. If any of you play CoH, I'd enjoy meeting you. I'm on the Justice server and my global is @FusionCore.
These days, I'm mostly a MMO fan because I like the group aspect. For that reason, I'm really intrigued by the notion of TOG since teaming with like minded peers makes any game better. In fact, that's kind of how I found TOG... I've been playing CoH for over 3years now, have tried SWG (though sadly after it's demise had begun) and have been keeping track of Tabula Rasa as a potential new timesink. I recently downloaded the TR beta and was on the forums where I saw a post from Atrayo this morning announcing recruiting for TOG members... TOG? Hmm lemme check that out.. Hey cool! On TR, my characters go by the last name of Haazard - I'd enjoy meeting other TOG members and I'd also like you to consider me as another greying addition to the TOG membership! Thanks, -Haazard |
