Hi All,

I thought I'd applied yesterday but must have forgot to press the submit key or something Not a great start!

Anyway I'm applying to join after spotting a post on the POTBS (Pirates Of The Burning Sea) forums and thinking it sounded like it might be the place for me.

Im 49 with a partner and 2 children living in Somerset, England. I have been playing computer games from 1977 when I use to play Adventure on an Amdahl mainframe. My first home computer was a C64 which I still have (or rather my brother does - must get it back now I come to think of it).

In the 90's I spent more time at the bar than at the computer playing games but in 1998 I got a decent graphics card for my pc and started playing again regularly. I've played mainly FPS's over the last 9 years Half Life, Quake, Far Cry and a good deal of flight simulators - CFS, Apache Havoc and Red Baron. All of this has been single player.

A few years ago I was part of a clan playing the Day Of Defeat mod and over the last three years I've played co-op with my partners brother and friend on games such as H&D, SWAT 4 , H&D2 which we are currently just starting.

I plan to play POTBS when it comes out towards the end of the year and I look forward to bumping into some of you.
