TOG - The Older Gamers

If it means anything I am INTRUDER the one that made 12 maps for Kingpin and 53 maps for SOF and 16 maps for Serious Sam and has his pic in the Hall of Fame in Serious Sam 2 and I have done much more but bragging isn't my game.

I play FPS and RPG and some MMOs.

My first encounter with gaming was Doom in the late 80s and then with an FPS was in 1998 with Unreal, needless to say I am old about 57 in human years.

Having been splattered on every wall imagineable I would say I need a Gold Card Heal Aura but an old tart like me can only hope that I can get admitted to a hospital or your group.

Please take some time to read this: Potential Members PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE POSTING and the other sticky posts at the top of this forum. They detail what is needed in order to become a full TOG member.

We need to know:

Are you over the age of 25?
Have you read and agreed to the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and FAQs
Have you read and agreed to the Forum and Server Guidelines.

Post back here with the required info and we can give you full access to the site (TOGerised).

Forum & Server Guidlines.

Forums:

Spam.
Repetitive posts.
Posts with no point, subject matter.
No-one enjoys spam email & we don't enjoy spam posts on the TOG forums. Please refrain form posting spam.

Advertising.
Any advertising for companies & or products without Admin permission will be immediately deleted.

Redundant posts.
As a courtesy to others before beginning a new thread, please look to see if an active thread on that topic has already been established. If so, place your comments there instead. Multiple threads on the same subject clutter up the forum needlessly and many good ideas may be lost. Keep discussions about one topic to one thread only. Moderators should provide link to other thread when locking.

Thread Hijacking.
Is when a post is taken off topic by a person or group of other posters. This is disrespectful & rude to the person who made the original post. We understand that posts can go off on a tangent, but should be brought back on topic. Please keep this to a minimum.

Immediate Locking and/or deleting of these kinds of posts.
The posting of pornography; discriminatory remarks which are sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive; excessive obscene or vulgar language; posts which discuss or illustrate illegal activity; providing links to sites that contain any of the aforementioned.

Trolling is prohibited.
Trolling is the word used to describe a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting the members of the forum community. Posts of this nature are disruptive and do not convey a friendly attitude.

Personal attacks are prohibited.
Commonly known as flaming, personal attacks are posts which are designed to personally berate or insult another. Text of this nature is not beneficial to the community spirit.

Post constructively.
Negative feedback can be very useful, provided that it is presented in a civil, factual manner. Tell us what you don't like and why and how you feel it could be improved. Posts that are insulting and rude may be locked/deleted, no matter how valid the ideas behind them may be.

Disruptive or Counterproductive Posts.
As above, constructive criticism is welcomed, but any member deemed to be overly disruptive, abusive, or counter productive can be removed from a division or TOG as a whole on a case by case basis & at the discretion of TOG administration.

Warnings, locked & deleted threads.
If a moderator locks or deletes a thread, they will leave a brief message as to the reason. The poster has the right to PM the Mod or Admin in regards to the said thread being deleted or locked.

Such matters shall remain private between the Moderator and the user. Questions or comments concerning warnings, locked threads and possible bans will be conveyed through private messaging, please.

Attacks & Disrespect for Admins & Moderators.
This will not be tolerated. The admins & moderators are all volunteers, they do not get paid, they give their time & effort freely & are choosen for their ability to be look at all things in a fair & just manner.
Attacks against a moderator or admin may result in expulsion from TOG.

Public threads by the poster complaining about specific actions taken against them by forum moderators or administrators will be deleted.

If you believe you have been treated unfairly, you may contact a TOG Magistrate. PM . The TOG Magistrate is a completely neutral party, he does not have access to any of the operation forums or is a part of the TOG heirarchy.

Game & Communications Servers:

Behaviour
You will behave as you yourself would wish to be treated. You will not abuse, slander other members or non-members. TOG has a good reputation within the wider gaming community & this is to be upheld by all our members. We take this very seriously & breaches will be dealt with possible expulsion from TOG.

Swearing
Refrain from repeated swearing. Most servers TOG & non-TOG severs do have filters, or server admins that will kick you off the server for repeated swearing. When using voice communication software, please be aware that some members may be running it output through speakers & have young children present.

Using Cheats or Hacks
One simple rule. Do not use a cheat or hack. If you are caught you will be be immediately banned from TOG.

Now what do I get besides lag
