Default Altira from Vanguard: SOH

This is Altira, from Vanguard. Here's my application:

1. I am over 25 years of age.

2. I have read the AUP & FAQ
3. I have read the forum/server guidlines.

I live in Columbia, MO (CST time zone).

I work odd hours, 2:30am-7am, so my play time is usually from 8am-12pm. However occasionally it will extend to 6pm, depending on how involved I become online (don't want to leave a great group, or trying to finish a long quest).

I'm a 35 year old male, no family or kids. I'm the stereotypical "40 year old virgin", with all the social inadequacies that come with that "title"- just 5 years younger. Lol.

I'm not sure how else to describe myself, other than to say that I don't fit the mold of my peers. And as such, in "real life", I would appear enigmatic, and at times difficult to relate to. But then again, that's what online gaming is for- an activity and interest that we can relate to. Right?

My gaming history started with MajorMUD, a BBS MUD game. I played that for 5-10 years (memory is bad that far back lol), until Everquest was released. Then I started playing EQ, and played that until Everquest 2 was released. I've been playing EQ2 until Vanguard: SOH was released. I have been playing Vanguard off and on, but in the past 2 weeks have committed myself to it full time (with my Bard).

In EQ I was on the more prominent raiding guild, so I have lots of experience with raiding. I also played a bard, as I do now in Vanguard. In EQ2, I did a lot of raiding and was in the premiere or elite guild, "Fortitude", on Kithicor server, from its inception. I played a Swashbuckler named Jaedyn. So again, I'm familiar with raiding and such.

Currently loving the Bard class in Vanguard, as they provide the most significant improvement to a group; to all classes. This makes grouping more efficient and fun, and they also do some really nice damage, unlike in EQ1/EQ2.

Lastly, I am applying to TOG because I am looking for a guild to join with active members my level. And I always seem to be running into TOG members, or grouping with them. I level pretty fast, and I know my class well, so I believe I will be a good asset to the guild.

Welcome to Tog Jaeden. An Admin should be along soon to approve your application. I look forward to seeing you in the world of Telon. Once you have been approved, please take the time to visit the Vanguard forums. Also please post the character name you'd like a guild invite for in the appropriate server thread Seradon (PVE), Sartok (PVP).

Cheers,
Zal
