Greetings my friends!
I heard about your group from a poster on the Pirates of the Burning Seas forum and came to read up on you. I'm very impressed that such a group is around and functioning fairly well, from what I can tell. It's so difficult to find other like minded and mature gamers to spend time with in the virtual world. I'm very pleased to have found out about this group and ask, humbly, for your consideration in becoming a member.

A little something about myself. My real name is Chris and I live where I grew up, in the Central Arkansas area. I'm 35 years old and have been a faithful MMO gamer since the release of SWG and EVE back in 2003. Computers and the Internet are my vocation and avocation as I make my living as a Computer Support Technician with a local financial outfit. I work the usual 9-5 shifts most days and am home all weekend to spend gaming. I live alone, so no wife or kids to harass me as I diligently frag my way thru the virtual world. I have a couple of local friends and we enjoy playing FPS's together like Rainbow Six: Vegas and the new GRAW2. I'm looking very much forward to a couple of MMO releases this year: Tabula Rasa and Pirates of the Burning Sea. We have a date on the former, but am still crossing my fingers for the latter. I guess we'll see.

Anyway there it is. I hope this isn't too long winded for anyone. I'm looking forward to meeting many of you and seeing how this gaming year turns out.

Hello Engineer, and welcome, before we officially togerise you there is some stuff missing from your application.

We need you to take a look over the AUP, FAQ's and Server/Forum guidelines. If when you have read all of that you agree with it - come back and edit your post stating that you have read it and agree with it all and then before you know it - you will be forever TOG!

We need to know:

1. Are you over the age of 25?
2. Have you read and agreed to the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and FAQs
3. Have you read and agreed to the Forum and Server Guidelines.

Post back here with the required info and we can give you full access to the site (TOGerised).

MY apologies. I did, in fact, read thru your AUP, the FAQ, and the Server/Forum Guidelines before I posted and was very impressed. You don't see to many groups who take the time to develop specific rulesets of that nature. They seem very reasonable to me and I agree with them wholeheartedly. I'm certain they help quite a bit with maintaining a civil and sociable atmosphere here. I took in as much as I could as I read thru them and, though I may not have memorized them, I'll certainly know where to find them again for future reference.
