First things first.

1. You are over 25 years of age. born 14th January 1980 makes me 27.
2. You have read the AUP & FAQ. yes. all seems reasonable. and i still have a C-64 with tape drive. Baulderdash and Ghostbusters still rule.
3. You have read the forum/server guidelines. absolutely agree. follow these and everyone will enjoy their online experience.

What lies beyond.. My name is Ben and i'm an Architect in Adelaide. I was born in Albany western australia and moved here approximately 11 years ago. I've been playing games for approximately 13 years now and unfortunately i dont have a lot of time these days becasue of work, girlfriend, car, computer.. in that order unfortunately.

My hobbies include mucking around with computers (usually pushing them to the point where they catch fire and then get upset that i have to buy new stuff), modifying cars (i'm big into nissan N12 turbo's) and am developing the worlds first sequential twin turbo E15ET N12 engine.. i'm such a geek..

anyway thats about it, i've been playing today with some TOG members in BF2142 and we totally kicked but. made some new friends online and basicalyl had a great few games. will log back on in a min and continue the destruction with these guys. great talking with them.

Anyway. i thought i'd string a few images together if thats ok show you some of my instruments of the trade..

My new computer (3 years old and onto its 4th generation) is an Inten Core 2 quad. this is the first time i've jumped ship and gone to intel. My previous generations in this case with this cooler were an AMD Athlon 2500_ overclocked to 2867mhz (4400+ speeds) with 4gb or RAM, and a 6600GT video card. i cooked the card and upgraded to a 7800GS AGP is still alive and running in my HTPC (for my samsung 40" 1920x1080 monitor... great for games... lol) I cooked the CPU and put in an X2 4400+ and overclocked it. then i cooked the MB and had to toss it out. luckily i found another s939 AGP board and continued the gaming. then the CPU let go in a cloud of smoke when my PSU shorted and pushed more than 3v into the board.

replaced the board and CPU with more AMD x2 action and dumped a pair of 8800GTS-320's into it.. then i blew the cpu again and dropped in a Q6600 quad thats now overclocked mildly (under 34deg c at full load) to 2800ish mhz. this run 2gb DDR800 and the 8800GTS.. i have about 1.4tb of HDDs and its all fun..

I bought this rig for my 3D applications and rendering (i hook up with my farm of old Athlon 32 MP multi cpu's for added power).

anyway i've not had much change to take pics but this is it in development..







anyway thats about it. i have 3 other PC's around the house, 2 for HTPC requirements and 2 for CAD/Games etc.. I worked it out the other day that ihave almost 4tb's of drive space, 16.5gb's of RAM, 137 inches of LCD screens, 27.6ghz of processing power, and an empty wallet...

Well thats about it from me, i hope that i can contribute to this website and someday wear the =TOG= clan badge while playing BF2142..
