Application to join ToG community

Hello there,

This isn't the first time I've stumbled across this site, and I doubt it will be the last. I've been browsing here before, for various games, and it always struck me as a great idea, the community that is. Whereas before I was a part of other communities (for MMO's) I have now since then, withdrawn from said communites. Why? Well, mostly because of the manor in which some people of a certain age go about presenting themselves online. I've grown, to be quite honest, sick and tired of 'l33t' attitudes and this moranic mentality that seems to present itself in various communites througout the web. World of Warcraft being a major culprit.

I don't mind people having a laugh and what not, but when you simply cannot have a decent, civilized conversation without someone slandering or mocking you then you know it's time to look elsewhere.

A few months ago I started playing LOTRO, which was a pleasant surprise, both in terms of quality of Game and community. It was to be expected though, LOTRO was always going to have a mature community, as for the most part it is technically an older Gamers WoW (as such). But, due to circumstances regrading work and a long vacation with the missus I had to leave Middle-Earth for several months along with the Kinship and community I co-founded (SoG - Sons of Gondor, Seriously Odler Gamers (odd that, similar to your own alias ) and opun returning found my interest in the Game had lessened as I had fallen so far behind.

So, the community has been passed down to the people who still play and are passionate about LOTRO (check it out: Sons of Gondor - Home ) and I have moved on.

So, here I am, looking to start again but without the restrictions of one particular Game or MMO. Here I am at ToG. Yesterday I downloaded Tabula Rasa, Richard Garriots newest venture and so far I am enjoying it, it's both something new and fresh and also fun. I think this will be my weapon of choice for the winter months.

Well, enough waffling I suppose, down to the crunch. Myself, I have played many MMO's over the years, titles including:

FF XI (retired)
Lineage 2 (retired)
EQ2 (retired)
EvE: Online (retired)
WoW (still active)
Guild Wars (still active)
LOTRO (retired)
Tabula Rasa (just started)

I am an avid fan of the MMO genre and the Role playing style of games in general. I would very mnuch so like to join your community, and more specifically the Tabula Rasa Clan which is a aprt of ToG, as I would like to start playing this hopefully new passion with a good bunch of people with a sound mindset and mature sense of humour, I do hope you consider me as I'm sure I can add to this community as best I can. I have many skills :P

That is a very well worded and detailed application and introduction, but we do need to know a couple essential bits of information missing from ya.
