Application to join TOG (it's a family thing)
Hi All,
I’m looking to join TOG because both of my RL brothers are already here (Baerlon & Wildiin). See that?...Online gaming, bringing families together. They both recommended this as the place to be for an online gaming community, so here I am! I like the overall mentality/vibe here at TOG and would like to be a part.
As far as gaming experience is concerned, I started with AD&D at about 10 (back in ’82), along with a smattering of Star Frontiers and Car Wars. I got in with the online gaming community with EverQuest in 2000, and recently got hooked on LOTR-Online (foisted upon me by my aforementioned siblings). TOG seems to have what I’m looking for in an online gaming community (fair play, camaraderie, etc.). I play evenings, Pacific Time, anywhere from 9pm to 12am (later on weekends). Characters are as follows:
EverQuest I:
Innoruuk/Nameless Server - Cougarshand, Tylsith, Draxarc, Gaeldorn, Treminsheer
Sleeper/Combine – Gaeldorn
Firiona Vie – Kordmorin
LOTR-Online:
Elendilmir – Tylsith, Gwynlief, Rolandar
A bit about me…I live in Valencia, California (you know, right next that raging inferno on the hillside?). I’m married, and I have a 3 year old (an adorable little girl who sometimes sits on my lap while I’m playing LOTR and points at every character that comes on the screen asking if it’s one of her uncles). I work in the entertainment industry (Disney, post-production). Hobbies/Interests are (not necessarily in this order): Gaming, Comic Books (yes, I actually collect comics in my 30s...oh, pardon me, is that my Geek showing?), Reading (F&SF), Movies (F&SF), Playing with my daughter, dog, and/or cats, and time permitting…Camping, Hiking, Bodyboarding, Any and all live music stuff.
Here’s to hoping I’m on board and I’ll see you online!
Thanks,
Tylsith
Oh yeah, I’m 35, so there’s that.
AND...I have read and agree to all rules and regulations of this site/community.
