(semi) Mature Gamer Seeking to Join

First I'd like to say the following:

• I am over 25 years of age (27 to be exact)
• I have read the AUP & FAQ
• I have read the forum/server guidelines

My good friend Wiz_74 told me about this place, and knowing that I am a complete video game junkie, he knew I would not be able to resist signing up. (And at the same time I'm hoping a little name-throwing will help me out...wink wink).

Like I mentioned I'm 27 years old, married with kids, and I've been playing video games as long as I remember (Mario was my first love). I live in the U.S. in the middle of nowhere in the Pacific Northwest where it rains quite a bit, which actually helps me have an excuse to sit inside and play on my computer.

Right now I'm playing Neverwinter Nights. Prior to that I played Diablo II a few times and Oblivion. RPG is my cup of tea. I haven't started WoW yet, but only because I'm afraid my family might find my dry, withered, husk of a corpse at the computer. It looks fun and highly, highly addictive (WoW, not my corpse)...and I have a feeling I'm going to cave in soon.

P.S. I do have to mention that joining the "The Older Gamers" does not help with my apprehension of turning 30 in a few years. Sigh...
